Gardening in Milan
I’ve spent the last few days at Milan Design Week. I haven’t had a chance to check out what’s going on just yet, I’ve been busy working with Lancia to create some buzz for them with my pothole gardens.
And epic day of shooting (involving 14 gardens and 2 stops for pizza) was all worthwhile. We’ve had a great response, check this out!

Oxford And Cambridge Goat Race
The famous goat race happened on the weekend. There was also a boat race on too…
Cambridge managed to win this year (again) but I think race wasn’t quite the right word. It was more like a stroll for these guys! I wonder what they must think each year.
What an awesome afternoon. Music, beer and a goat race. Who could ask for more? It’s a great thing for Spitafields City Farm, check out their site and stay tuned for next years goat race!
Lost at the lost lectures
I had the pleasure of being asked to speak at the Lost Lectures recently. I’d never had the pleasure of attending the Lost Lectures before, and if you ever get the chance, get yourself along! Billed as “enchanting talks from secret locations” it certainly lives up to its name. Held at the lovely Bush Hall in Shepherds Bush, the speakers included a political blogger, a sex statistician and beat boxer!
I was a little nervous, but got into the swing of things after a few minutes. The guys posted some very kind words to the site about my talk:
“Next up was the first ever public performance by Guerrilla gardener Steve Wheen, who’s dead-pan delivery and painfully cute series of Pothole gardens, stole the heart of the audience and hopefully set him up for a glittering future on the stage. We’re rather proud it all started here!”

YouTube Partner Promotion
I’ve been working on an exciting new project at ATP recently, which has now gone live. I think the YouTube partner promotion programme is a great platform for YouTube partners.
I worked on the project with the ATP team and 3D animators/designers Paul Clements and also Steve West. This video should sum it up, if not I’ve done something seriously wrong…
